Conduct of Our Seniors
Our seniors’ conduct was deplorable, to say the least. Theirs was a sadist bunch, who derived pleasure by ragging us and ensured we were hammered day and night. We could never love them. Whenever they were given a tough time by the DS Staff, they would pass on the same thing to us. We were made to fall in at odd hours at night and troubled in all possible ways. There were many of our batch mates who knew some of our senior GCs from SS 33 either from school, college or being from the same place. They took full advantage of their liaisons and acquaintances and were spared the agony many a time. Lesser mortals envied this privileged lot.
"If you can't get them to salute when they should salute and wear the clothes you tell them to wear, how are you going to get them to die for their country?"
